Watch to the end to see a surprise! This video is dedicated to my fiancée, and yes, she was quite surprised! I hope you all enjoy it! This ring box is made from Asian Tiger Eye Burl, which is an evergreen species native to Southeast Asia. To my knowledge it is not endangered, but the wood is sometimes harvested for medicinal purposes. I had originally planned to use brass barrel hinges instead of the exposed hinge and latch. It was almost 2AM when I decided to try installing barrel hinges and I completely botched the process. So the bandsaw came to the rescue! Thank you for watching!
