China's 'Zero-COVID' a Means of Subjugation?

According to a new report, it looks like Beijing’s COVID-19 prevention measures are also a means to subjugate the Chinese people. Hundreds of people had their health QR codes changed to red by Chinese authorities—likely because they were planning a protest, not because they had COVID. The QR codes are part of China's virus contact-tracing system. They alert users and authorities when a person comes in close contact with an infected person. So if your QR code is red, you will lose access to public transportation and the right to travel across the country.
