A Soyuz rocket took off from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
Its international crew includes veteran astronauts
Ricky Arnold and Drew Feustel, as well as Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev.
The craft is destined for the International Space Station. There they will be greeted by American astronaut Scott Tingle, Japanese astronaut Norishige Kanai and Russian cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov.
