Uber has ended its self-driving car program in Arizona.
The decision follows a fatal collision in March, when a vehicle in autonomous mode struck and killed a pedestrian in Tempe.
The company put the program on hold after the collision, but now Uber has pulled out of the southwestern state, firing it's 200 employees there.
But Arizona governor Doug Ducey also suspended the testing program after the crash, calling the incident disturbing and alarming.
Although an Uber spokesperson said the company is still committed to self-driving technology, they also opted not to renew a testing license in California.

Ash and lava erupted from a complex of fissures in the lower East Rift Zone in Puna, Hawaii, on May 23.
Volcanic activity has been ongoing near Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano since May 3, forcing evacuations and causing one serious injury.
Blue flames appeared from road cracks near the Leilani Estates subdivision on May 22.
USGS said the blue flames were caused by methane gas, produced as a result of lava burning vegetation, according to USGS.
