'Dumbest Criminal' Goes to Great Lengths to Steal Gumball Machine From Animal Shelter

An animal shelter in Sacramento, California, appealed for the public’s help on March 9 to find a man who broke into their premises and stole a fund-raising gumball machine. They dubbed him one of "Sacramento’s dumbest criminals." This footage of the incident was posted on Facebook by the Front Street Animal Shelter, with subtitles describing the “many trials and tribulations” the burglar faced when trying to remove the machine from the building. The man is seen entering the premises via a pet door. He then grabs the machine, breaking it almost immediately. Hundreds of gumballs spill on the ground as he tries to fit the machine through the pet door that proves too small. He then takes the machine out through another door and throws it over a barbed wire fence. "You can help us catch him by sharing this video!" the shelter stated.
