Orangutan Rescues Baby Bird

When a coot chick falls into a pond inside the Dublin Zoo's primate enclosure, this curious orangutan climbs down to investigate. To the audible surprise of onlookers, the orangutan rescues the baby bird, first trying to scoop it up with a leaf and then, when that fails, gently cupping the chick in his hands, and ultimately saving its life.
