Rimsky-Korsakov Flight of the Bumblebee | Nicolas Baldeyrou clarinet quartet !

Nicolas BALDEYROU
Many of you asked me to record the flight of the bumblebee, but I didn’t want to make a show piece of it neither to participate in a speed competition 😁 it’s a really beautiful fairy piece from the opera “The tale of Tsar Saltan”. The piece closes Act III, Tableau 1, during which the magic Swan-Bird changes Prince Gvidon Saltanovitch (the Tsar's son) into an insect so that he can fly away to visit his father (who does not know that he is alive). Nice story isn’t it ? Also many people asked me about how to practice double tonguing, and I guess this piece is absolutely the best support for this work. Pronouncing a very soft degedege in the low and medium registers in a fast tempo, which is much easier for equalizing the staccato. It’s also a very good piece to practice the chromatic scale, which is the base of my daily practice, not raising the fingers, not pushing the keys too firmly and being as stable as possible. If you like this arrangement, I will publish it very soon, tell me what you think about it ! And don’t forget to save the bees 💖🐝🐝🐝 https://www.change.org/p/ban-the-chemical-that-s-killing-our-bees
